DESCRIPTION:Giving in response to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria\nOn Thursday 7th September\, the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) will be hosting a webinar on “Giving in response to the earthquake in Turkey and Syria”. \nMore than six months on following the devastating earthquake in southern Turkey and north-west Syria\, the humanitarian needs on the ground are still profound. \nJoin Neil Heslop\, CAF Chief Executive\, and Jessie Krafft\, Senior Vice President of CAF America with special guest speakers\, Emma Cherniavsky\, Chief Executive Officer of the United Kingdom for UNHCR and Rana Kotan\, Secretary General of TUSEV (Third Sector Foundation of Turkey) as they take a deep dive into how donors can ensure the greatest impact with their giving in support of Turkey\, Syria and its displaced people. \nGuest speakers will also be joined by colleagues / local organisations who will share their insight into the situation on the ground\, how they have been reacting to the challenges and how localised giving can be transformative.
